The Jezchat Philosophy

So what is Jezchat all about? You'll probably know the site grew up from simple Hyperboards forums into what it is today, and despite the development of the Jezchat Passport, MyJezchat, Jezchat Media and Jezchat Network one thing has always remained the same - it has been run by two key principles:
  • Whatever is available, it must be available to everyone and for free.
  • The product must be designed to encourage and enhance the art of communication.

Jezchat's one goal is to provide a single site to cater for all, to provide the means of communication for everyone who has something to say. We don't try to match people up or mix new friends, we feel that in providing the platform for simple communication we are already doing this.

But Jezchat isn't a massive corporate giant throwing any old crap online, we're a small non-profit group offering the best quality services we can... so how is it sustained?

As Jezchat is non-profit we rely on two things to keep afloat: The generosity of the owners and advertising revenue. That's it. We don't ask for donations, we don't ask for paid members or offer improved accounts for those willing to throw some money our way.

How does Lespacio fit into this? Lespacio is a seperate entity to Jezchat in many ways. We do not bring it under the Passport umbrella and we do not attempt to link it directly with Jezchat sites, however it still performs one purpose: to aid the free means of communication for all. As well as some paid hosting accounts Lespacio provides free forum hosting and free file hosting, the paid accounts simply allow us to provide the rest.
